Surrealism artist Man Ray created art piece Observatory Time, using both painting and photography, where the lips are floating above the Paris Observatory.
In this art piece it is shown to be a black and white photograph, it includes a painting of lips in the sky. The photograph also shows a nude woman laying on her side and a chessboard near her feet. In the artists, Man Ray, art piece it some how hints the woman may be sleeping, dreaming about either a nightmare or fantasy dream. The lips of this art piece have now been used for 'The Rocky Horror Show' adverts.
In my opinion Man Ray is showing the audience his love for France through this image, maybe as dream for him to go back to France
